"I usually had about 14 or 15 children we would have had them in rows and then like the next change was to put them in little groups, they would have come into the classroom and I had a blue paper register so you would have the name and ticked it off in the book, no letting the Secretary know! And of course it was a chalkboard, I remember having a green one with a flap on each side so you could put some stuff on it and then say "here's something I prepared earlier".
As for the future....
"I really think that it won't hit me until mid September because for the moment it's like summer holiday isn't it? Everybody's going on holiday and I've got a trip, a big trip to Mexico planned for early September then I'm going to see but, like this makes everyone laugh, there's a Montessori School about three minutes on foot from my house......."
