June 9, 2010: "On May 28th, the class of 2010 said goodbye to ISP at the annual Grade 12 Graduation, officially marking the end of 88 students' time at ISP and the beginning of the rest of their lives.
The ceremony was held for the first time in the Salle Wagram, a beautiful reception hall listed as a historical monument located in the 17th arrondissement in Paris.
Students began the day by rehearsing. They returned just a few short hours later to take the stage again, but this time in front of a live audience. Over 500 friends, family, faculty and staff turned out for the occasion to support the students.
Juan Mendez, Visiting Professor of Law (American University, Washington College of Law), gave the graduation address. He reminded the graduates of how privileged they were to have received an education at ISP and challenged them to do good and better the world around them.
A cocktail reception followed the ceremony, where students and their friends and family were able to take advantage of the sunny weather and enjoy a delicious selection of hors d'oeuvres and champagne. For desert, a raspberry cake with a photo of the entire class of 2010 printed on it!”
